Never Say Diet! Big Giveaway!



You may remember that I blogged about this book, Never Say Diet by Chantel Hobbs, last year in May. Here's the link if you want to check out my short review.

Now I have two copies, yes, two copies, to give away, and I am also giving away the companion book, The Never Say Diet Personal Fitness Trainer

And I will give the two books away together. I think you'll really enjoy them, if you're trying to lose weight, and it seems everybody is! I know I am! I have to! Unless I want to go on high blood pressure medicine, and no I don't!!!

The companion book is sort of like a 16-week workbook, which includes a scripture for the week. It has meal suggestions and even recipes, and it leads you through your daily exercise routine. It's full of great pep talks, too! I think you'll love this author's straightforward style, and the fact that she knows how it feels to be 200 pounds overweight and out of control with her eating, and she knows how it feels to look and feel great. And she'd rather feel great! And so will you!

This sounds like a wonderful book. Every year I seem to put on a couple new pounds that don't go away. Now I have a closet full of clothes that either I can't get into or if I can, they are very uncomfortable. Right now I'm thankful for my stretch jeans.

Forget the fiction--if I ever needed to win a book, this is it! I've had this area under control for years and got sort of complacent about it. Then I added three pounds one year, and four the next, and so on until...well, let's just say I need the books, okay?

I would love to win these books! I need to lose weight and do not want to develop diabetes (I am borderline) so I really need to. I have never heard of this author before so it would be good to have some fresh ideas :-)

sounds like a great book and I could use it with my online group of friends from college days who are all trying to lose weight! I send a weekly devotional for our group and the last one I sent mentioned how First Place (a Christian plan for weight-loss/healthy eating) calls it a "live-it" plan so this book sounds like it would fit right in. Melanie, please include me in the contest. I've been struggling to lose weight for years. Right now I'm on Slimfast, which doesn't seem to do anything except keep feeling hungry. I'm glad these books are geared toward getting healthy. That is what is important. Hollywood and the media push the bone-thin woman on everyone, and that can be just as dangerous as being over weight.
