I'm on Seekerville!

I'm giving away a copy of my book on Seekerville today!

What is Seekerville?

It is a great blog written by 15 fabulous authors, including Mary Connealy, Julie Lessman, Camy Tang, et al, who give great writing advice and talk about the publishing industry and give away lots of books! So come by and say hi! I'm talking about the booming YA genre.

Melanie, great book trailer. Your story sounds wonderful.

I'm curious if you have any supernatural elements in the story. One of the Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy (CSFF) Blog Tour members suggested we tour your book in the fall.

We featured two of Stephen Lawhead's King Raven series, a retelling of Robin Hood, so in that respect yours would be similar, but his had minor supernatural elements. I guess I think that would be essential for CSFF to consider featuring your novel.

Anyway, congratulations on your work. I'm sure you're excited.

Actually, the book does contain some supernatural elements, mostly toward the end of the book. Not sure if you're for or against that. :-)

Oh, I see what you're saying. You were asking if it can be considered Sci-fi/Fantasy. There is just a little bit of supernatural stuff going on near the end.
