Chance to Win The Healer's Apprentice

Teen blogger Prism is giving away a copy of The Healer's Apprentice on her blog, A Girl of Many Colors. Another giveaway can be found this week on K. Dawn Byrd's blog and on Elizabeth Ludwig's blog.

Lots of great reviews have come in on The Healer's Apprentice, and from some pretty prestigious places! For example:

Kirkus Reviews says: “The medieval German setting and fastidious details of period clothing, food, music and dance provide an ideal context for this courtly romance between two young lovers who choose duty, virtue and honor above self-interest. Female readers should savor this romantic fare.”

And Romantic Times says: “In her debut, Dickerson spins a magical tale loosely based on the story of Sleeping Beauty. Laced with plenty of romance, action, faith and fantasy, it's a perfectly romantic and well-told tale. Although it's written for a YA audience, it well satisfies the desire for sweet romance in all of us.”

Melanie, I 'm so excited for you! I just knew this book was going to fit a niche in the market. I'm still frustrated because I haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet. I had it on order at my Christian bookstore and I finally called them and after some searching they discovered their Canadian distributor didn't have any in stock yet. Grrr. But they have kindly gone to an American distibutor now and promise it will be in my hot little hands early this week. I told them to order extras because it would make a great Christmas gift!!!!!!!!

Oh, Kav!!! I'm so sorry you've had trouble getting the book. I just can't wait for you to read it and to hear what you thought of it. :-) The book stores around here keep running out of it so fast, I still have not actually seen it on a book store shelf!
